Vongoivan kissala ja kennel: We got names!

The puppies of the Vongoivan I-litter have got (preliminary) names. It is most probable that these are the names with which the puppies will be registered. I have been looking after nice names for a long time already. All names are either boys' or girls' names used in Iceland, or Icelandic words. Ifill means a falcon and Imir a greyish wolf.

The most recent photos below have been taken on the 1st of June 2013. The weights of the Vongoivan I-puppies are increasing rapidly and soon my weighing system will be too small. Currently Vongoivan Ivar is the biggest of the puppies and little miss Vongoivan Inga is the smallest one. However, even Inga is about 950 grams at the age of 2.5 weeks...

Vongoivan Ina (Female1)

Vongoivan Ina will be named after a young Finnish lady - Iina - keen in Icelandic horses and Icelandic dogs. She was very much involved in summer 2002 in me getting acquainted with Icelandic Sheepdogs. Thank you Iina, Mýsla, Johanna and Nanna. In early 2013 Iina got her own Icelandic sheepdog puppy from the Tassumäen kennel, the puppy being daughter to Vongoivan Disa, one of Stella's daughters :-)
